Tamaki WRAP is a charitable trust made up of local people from Tamaki-Maungakiekie. Our backgrounds, skills and interests are diverse but our commitment to ensuring a sustainable and healthy community unites us all.

Our board of Trustees
Lucy Pierpoint
Chair
Lucy hails from East Africa and has a long history of working in waste reduction in the UK and Aotearoa. Most recently with Auckland Council Waste Solutions and Low Carbon teams. She has an art and jewellery practise based on "Defying Obsolescence" creating objects from redundant materials and is the vision holder for the Tāmaki Urban Market Garden proving vegetables locally. She has been a keen advocate for Tāmaki WRAP for many years on a trustee son 2018. Her current mahi supports families at a time of bereavement.
Sarah Aitken
Trustee
Sarah joined the Board when the scope of Tāmaki WRAP broadened to include Maungakiekie. Having lived in Onehunga for over 15 years with a long interest in low waste living she was excited by the kaupapa and the strong community focus of the organisation. After 10 years at Greenpeace she is currently working for the Ākina Foundation to support purpose led businesses. She is especially interested in the connection between low waste and low carbon living.
